An Evening with RNA - Feb 6 2018

The next Evening with RNA will be held on February 6 2018 on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Time Event
4:00 - 4:30 Roy Parker (CU Boulder)
The future of RNA research
4:30 - 5:00 Briana van Treeck (Parker lab, CU Boulder)
RNA-RNA interactions contribute to stress granule assembly and help define the stress granule transcriptome
5:00 - 5:45 Pizza
5:45 - 6:15 Jay Hesselberth (CU Anschutz)
New methods for single-cell RNA biology
6:15 - 6:45 Joe Cardiello (Goodrich lab, CU Boulder)
Investigating a heat shock induced transcriptional termination defect: a new source of stress induced elongated mRNAs.
6:45 - 7:00 Wrap-up

We are organizing a CU Buffs bus to transport attendees. The bus will pick up outside of JSCBB at 3pm and return to Boulder around 7:30pm.
